New Orleans Pelicans at New York Knicks Betting Preview

New York Knicks at Atlanta Hawks Game 3 Betting Preview

It is the New Orleans Pelicans on the road at the New York Knicks on Tuesday. The Pelicans come into the game with a 34-24 record on the season. That is 7th in the Western Conference. New Orleans has dropped back to back games, including a home loss to the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.

For the New York Knicks, they are 35-23 on the season. New York lost on Saturday to the Boston Celtics, but bounced back with a win on Monday over Detroit. The Knicks start the game in fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

Let’s take a look at our betting preview for this game, with the Knicks coming into the game at -1.

Pelicans Led by Zion

Zion Williamson is having himself a really nice season for the Pelicans. The big man has stayed healthy for the most part, and is scoring more than 22 points per game. Williamson has scored double digits in every game he has played since the start of the new year.

Brandon Ingram and CJ McCollum appear to be guys that are also getting a bunch of scoring done for New Orleans. Ingram has played in 52 games, while McCollum 43 on the season. Ingram is scoring 21.4 per game, while McCollum is at just under 19 per game.

The Pelicans have one more game on the road before the month comes to a close. They will play Wednesday at the Pacers. Once March arrives, they will host the Pacers, before heading back out on the road.

Knicks Missing Randle

Juluis Randle has not played since leaving the game on January 27th after 32 minutes against the Heat. Since he has missed, the Knicks have gone 5-6. They could use their big man back in action. Before he was hurt, he was scoring 24 points per game, with 9.2 rebounds per game.

That would take a ton of pressure off Jalen Brunson. The former Villanova point guard seems to be the one man wrecking crew at times for the Knicks. Brunson is scoring nearly 28 points per game. The Knicks as a team are scoring 114.2 points per game, which is 18th in the ;league. New York is fifth in rebounding, with nearly 46 per game.

New York will host Golden State on Thursday to finish the month of February. In March, the Knicks are on the road at Cleveland on the third. They then will head home and host the Hawks, Magic and 76ers twice before heading out on the road.

Knicks Take Care of Business at Home

The New York Knicks have struggled for just shy of a month now with finding ways to stay consistent as a basketball team. Jalen Brunson is one of the best players in the league, but he needs some help. The Pelicans are inconsistent as well, which was shown by their loss to the Bulls recently.

With the game at the Garden, we like the Knicks chances to win this game. We are going to bet the New York Knicks – over the New Orleans Pelicans in NBA action on Tuesday!
