The Boston Red Sox visit Seattle to take on the Mariners. This will be a matchup of two of the top teams in the American League. Boston has gone 6-4 in their last ten games en route to a 48-23 record. They are knotted up with the New York Yankees at the top of the American League East division. Meanwhile, Seattle has won 7 out of their last ten and trail only the red hot (Having won nine in a row) Red Sox by one half game.
Steven Wright will be on the mound for Boston. Wright has been having a great season thus far, as he is 2-0, and boasts a sub-1.5 (1.21) ERA. The Red Sox won’t expect him to maintain these otherworldly stats, but if he remains even close to this good, he will be bad news for anyone who faces them.
Wade LeBlanc will get the starting nod for Seattle. He is also having a good year, at 2-0. His ERA is sitting at an even 3. He and Wright will both be looking to keep their records perfect. Boston Red Sox are -115 over the Seattle Mariners on Saturday.

Boston Red Sox
Mookie Betts has been tearing it up this season. He has even been amidst MVP talks. He is batting .348 so far this season, and has batted in 38 runs. His batting average leads the league. He has been one of the major contributors to the success of the Red Sox. He has also hit 18 home runs. Betts also leads the team in runs scored (55), stolen bases (13), slugging percentage (.721), and doubles (19). His slugging percentage also is the best in baseball. It’s safe to say that his performance often helps determine the outcome of the game. The Red Sox will need him to play well in this one. J.D. Martinez and Andrew Benintendi will also be players to watch.
Seattle Mariners
Jean Segura is having a career year for Seattle. He is batting .344 so far this year, and has driven in 43 runs. He leads Seattle in average, runs scored (52), on base percentage (.365), total hits (97), and doubles (20). Like Betts, his performance will be vital. Mitch Haniger leads the team with 53 RBIs. Look for the Mariners to try to get men on base with him up, as he has been a machine thus far. Both of these men will be big factors in this game.
Red Sox Top Mariners
As good as Seattle has been this year, it would be tough for me to recommend betting against a team that has won nine in a row and has arguably the best player in baseball this year on it. I think that Betts and company will prove to be too much, even for a good pitcher like LeBlanc. Look for Boston to win by a good margin, as they have been beating everyone.
