Milwaukee Bucks at Indiana Pacers Betting Prediction

Game 3 of the best of 7 series between the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers will take place on Friday. The series is tied at 1. The Bucks won the first game of the series, but then Indiana downed Milwaukee on Wednesday to even it up. These are a pair of Central Divisional teams, and two of the highest scoring teams in the league.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been an interesting story all season long. After firing their head coach mid season, Doc Rivers has taken over, and things have not improved greatly. The Bucks finished with a 49-33 record, and the third seed in the East. The Bucks lost their final two games of the regular season and fell below the Knicks in the standings.

For Indiana, they went 47-35 on the season. THe Pacers won their final game of the regular season. Indiana was the top scoring team in all of the National Basketball Association season. The 47 was the most for the Pacers since the 2018-2019 season. The previous three seasons, the Pacers finished under .500.

The Indiana Pacers are the favorites here. Indiana is listed at -5.5. The total for this game is at 222.5.

No Freak is Bad News

Giannis Antetokounmpo played in 73 of the 82 regular season games this season. But, he has missed both postseason games, and the latest report is he will not play in this series. That is 30.4 points, 6.5 assists and 11.5 rebounds away from the team. It’s also one of the better defenders in the paint for Milwaukee gone.

The Bucks used 35 from Damian Lillard in Game one. He took over the game, and eventually took 24 shots. Then in Game two, despite another 34 points, the Bucks defense could not stop Indiana. The Bucks allowed the Pacers to score 125 points in the game.

Milwaukee will have to improve defense if they want any chance. The Bucks score 119 points per game, but without their top scorer, they cannot expect this game to get to 120 and have a chance at winning. The Bucks also averaged more than 14 three point shots made per game.

Siakam Killing it for Indiana

Pascal Siakam came over right at the middle of the season for the Indiana Pacers. He was great with 21.3 points per game in the regular season. But, now that the postseason is here, he has taken over. Siakam is scoring 36.5 points per game in the postseason. He is also adding 12 rebounds per game.

Tyrese Haliburton remains the second guy for the Pacers. He scored 20.1 points per game during the regular season. In the postseason, the former Iowa State guard is only scoring 10.5 points per game in the postseason, but has 20 assists in the two games.

The Pacers scored 123.3 points per game in the regular season. That was the best in the league. Indiana also made nearly 51% from the field. The Pacers made 13.2 three pointers per game as well. One weakness for the Pacers has been their rebounding, as they ranked 28th in the league with 41.5 per game.

Bucks Cover in Indianapolis

The Indiana Pacers are going to give the Milwaukee Bucks all they want and more. With no Giannis in the lineup, things are going to get worse for Milwaukee. But, they are good enough to compete and cover the spread in this game.

This is a tight one that Indiana wins at home. In the end though, betting the Milwaukee Bucks at +5.5 is the bet to make. Enjoy the game and best of luck with all your NBA Betting!
