Spencer Steer has been one of the best players for the Reds, with a .268 average and 17 home runs. Jake Fraley is also having a good season with 15 home runs and 63 runs batted in while stealing 20 bases.
For the Marlins, while not new to the scene, the leading hitter in the National League is Luis Arraez. The starting second baseman is hitting .375 on the season.
Bryan De La Cruz is having a good season as well, with 15 home runs and 58 runs batted in. Garrett Cooper and Jorge Soler are providing the power, with a combined 105 runs batted in between the two.
Marlins Top Reds on Monday
Both teams are playing pretty poor baseball right now. The Marlins have the pitching edge in this game. Sure, the Marlins will not let Perez go too long in this game, but Perez shuts down the Reds’ offense, and the Miami offense gets to Williamson.
