Miami Heat vs. Chicago Bulls Betting Preview

The Chicago Bulls will take on the Miami Heat for a chance to get to the NBA Playoffs on Friday night. This game is going to be played in Miami as they were the higher seed, but after Miami lost, Chicago now has a chance of getting into the postseason due to their win against the Toronto Raptors.

The Bulls have actually been playing decent basketball throughout the past few weeks. Since the All-Star break, Zach LaVine has been playing like the star that many thought he was, and it’s been impressive to watch. Other guys have also stepped up for Chicago, and that’s leading them to play above-average basketball.

Miami comes into this one at -5.5 on the spread line and -215 on the moneyline.

Can Chicago Pull This Off?

When looking at what the Chicago Bulls have done this season, it’s easy to see why some people do believe that this has been a disappointing season. After finishing the regular season at 40-42, many were expecting that Chicago was going to be much better than they were.

They played well a season ago, but then with the injury to Lonzo Ball last year, Chicago hasn’t been able to get much going ever since that day. Their lack of a point guard has been obvious, and he also brings a ton on the defensive side of the basketball.

Now, with the addition of Patrick Beverley, they do play differently, but Chicago has started to play better ever since they bought him around. He will have to continue to make big plays on the defensive side of the basketball for Chicago if they want to win this game.

Miami is going to play physically, just as they have throughout the past few seasons. If the Bulls don’t match that intensity, there’s a good chance that they’re not going to make the playoffs, and Miami will.

Miami Needs to Take Care of Business

This season for the Miami Heat has also been a major disappointment. Many expected that this was going to be a team that had a chance to win an NBA championship. In the past few seasons, they made it to an NBA final and the Eastern Conference Finals.

They ended up losing that series to the Boston Celtics and were hopeful that they were going to be able to get through that hump this season.

There are a few ways that Miami can win this game, but at the end of the day, Jimmy Butler has to be Jimmy Butler. He didn’t have a great game against the Atlanta Hawks, and that’s why Miami is now in this position. They will have another chance to redeem themselves against a tough Bulls team, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see them do what most are expecting them to do.

Miami Heat vs. Chicago Bulls Betting Preview Prediction

Although this game is going to be played in Miami, and the Heat might win this game outright, taking the Bulls +5.5 doesn’t seem to be a bad idea. Chicago has played very well throughout the past few weeks and should be able to at least compete in this game.
