Jayhawks Seeking Road Win

In the latest win over the Oklahoma Sooners, Kevin McCullar scored 21 points, and Hunter Dickinson poured in 24. Those two have been two of the best players in College Basketball this season. McCullar leads the Jayhawks with 19.9 points per game, playing 35 minutes per game. Point guard Dajuan Harris is at 7.1 points, but also 6.9 assists.
The Jayhawks are playing their first of back to back road games. Next, Kansas will go out on the road to West Virginia. After that, Kansas hosts Cincinnati, plays at Iowa State and comes back home at the end of the month to host these very same Oklahoma State Cowboys.
Cowboys Looking for First Conference Win
The Cowboys are looking for a signature win in a bad way. They felt they had it earlier this month, but fell in overtime at home to the Baylor Bears. The Cowboys are led by Javon Small, who is scoring 14.8 points per game. Small is also dishing out 4.3 assists per game. Brandon Garrison, the big man inside, leads the Cowboys with a 58% shooting mark.
Oklahoma State on the season is scoring 72.8 points per game, and allowing 68.1. The last time the Cowboys won a game was over Chicago State after the New Year. Bryce Thompson scored 13 points and Eric Dailey Jr, and Small scored 12. The Cowboys won the game by 19 points.
For Oklahoma State, they will head to Kansas State following this game, for a Saturday affair. The Cowboys then go home for back to back games. Oklahoma State will welcome the Horned Frogs of TCU to town and then West Virginia.. The final game of January is on the road at Kansas on January 30th.
Thriller in Stillwater
We anticipate this being a great basketball game. Kansas is not great on the road. The Jayhawks struggled in Orlando. We expect another struggle here. The Cowboys are going to cover the spread, but in typical Kansas fashion, they find a way to win. We will take Kansas 68-66 over Oklahoma State, keeping the game UNDER the total.
