Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens Betting Preview – AFC Championship

The Kansas City Chiefs are at the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game on Sunday from M+T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The winner heads to the Super Bowl, and will take on the winner of the San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions game.

Kansas City is coming off playoff wins over the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills. The Chiefs went 11-6 during the regular season, and took down the AFC West. The Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl Champions after taking down the Eagles a season ago.

For Baltimore, they are the top seed in the AFC. The Ravens went 13-4 and won the AFC North. Baltimore got a bye during wildcard weekend, and then beat the Houston Texans in the divisional round.

The Baltimore Ravens are -3.5 over the Kansas City Chiefs in this game. The total for the affair is listed at 44.5 points.

Defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes continues to guide the Kansas City Chiefs offense up and down the field. The signal caller is seeking his fourth trip to the Super Bowl. Last week, the win over Buffalo was his first road win in the postseason, outside of Super Bowl games. Mahomes hooked up with his top target Travis Kelce in the recent win over Cincinnati.

The Chiefs during the regular season threw for nearly 247 yards per game, and rushed for an additional 104.9. Isiah Pacheco has been really good in the postseason so far, scoring in each of the first two games. During the regular season, he was 65 yards shy of 1,000 and got into the end zone seven times rushing the ball.

MVP Jackson for Baltimore

When the end of the regular season awards come out in February, it is likely that Lamar Jackson will win his first Most Valuable Player award. The Ravens signal caller was brilliant all season, and carried that over into the postseason. Jackson rushed for 100 yards and 2 scores in the elimination win over the Texans.

Many do not talk about the Ravens defense, but it has been elite all season. In fact, the Ravens rank first in all of the league, allowing just 16.5 points per game. The Ravens have not allowed more than 23 points in a game since the Rams scored 37 on them to start December.  Over their last four games, Baltimore allowed 10, 17, 19 and 19 points.

Chiefs Stun Ravens in Baltimore

The Baltimore Ravens are the top seed here, but the Kansas City Chiefs are the defending champion. Something about Kansas City and their ability to continue finding ways to win in the postseason. The Chiefs are going to go to Baltimore and win this game.

More Mahomes magic, and he and Kelce become the key combination in this game. When we bet this game, we are going to take the Kansas City Chiefs +3.5, and also bet them on the moneyline. Enjoy the game and best of luck!
