LeBron James Can’t Be Stopped

The Toronto Raptors will be having nightmares about James’ heroics for years to come. LeBron has been incredible in the first 3 games of this series, and hit another game-winner to push the Raptors to the brink of elimination. James poured in a game high 38 points in game 3, including the decisive field goal as time expired.

The Cavaliers appear to have enough support around James to finish this series in 4 games. Kevin Love and Kyle Korver have both played well in support of James in this series. The sharp-shooting Korver will continue to get open looks in game 4, as the Raptors try to swarm LeBron.

Toronto Doesn’t Have an Answer

The Raptors have tried everything to stop LeBron, but so far nothing has worked. Raptors forward OG Anunoby will once again get the defensive assignment against James in game 4, but the Raptors will need a team effort in slowing him down. If Toronto is going to keep the series alive, head coach Dwayne Casey must come up with a different scheme.

The Raptors have been led by Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan all season long, but DeRozan was dreadful in game 3, before being benched. DeRozan finished with just 8 points while going 3-12 from the field, and had to watch the entire 4th quarter from the bench. The Raptors need their two stars to provide plenty of scoring if they are going to beat the Cavs in the elimination game.

Get the Brooms Ready

Coming into this series, the Raptors expressed confidence that this would finally be the year that they solved the Cavaliers. Through the first 3 games however, it has been the same story for the Raptors. Toronto hasn’t been able to figure out a way to stop James, and DeRozan let the team down in game 3. Toronto will be in desperation mode in game 4, which will make them a more dangerous team.

LeBron James knows that a sweep of the Raptors would provide his team with some much needed rest. James has been dominant throughout these playoffs, and he doesn’t appear to be showing any signs of age. The Cavaliers will need contributions from their entire roster in game 4, and they will get just enough to sweep the Raptors in a close game. The Raptors will cover, but the Cavaliers will advance. Bet the Toronto Raptors +6.0 against the Cavs in game 4.
