This year, the WSOP will begin on May 28, which is very soon. It will last more than a month and a half, wrapping up on July 16. The tournament will take place in Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Just like in every previous WSOP, there will be a lot of hefty rewards, including a total of 89 bracelet events. In other words, 89 lucky winners will get to win a trophy which they will remember for a lifetime, as gold bracelets are some of the most prestigious rewards in the poker world.

The thing with this WSOP is that it is very special, as it is the 50th annual tournament. Therefore, in order to celebrate that, there will be a couple of additional events such as a $50,000 No Limit Hold’em, Big 50, and $500 No Limit Hold’em which will have a $5 million in guaranteed prizes with $1 million which will be awarded to the winner of this event.

There will also be a special event which will be available for all poker players that already have a bracelet. In other words, only people who have won a WSOP bracelet in the past will have an opportunity to take part in that event and try to win a lucrative prize. Finally, one of the latest additions to WSOP events is the short deck tournament.

If you want to take part in No Limit Hold’em events, you need to take into account that all of them will follow the Big Blind Ante format.

The Main Event

The most important event in every WSOP tournament is the Main Event, and this one will be special as well. In order to take part in this prestigious event, players will have to pay a buy-in price which is $10,000. The tournament will begin on July 3 and will last as long as it needs. We could expect a lot of great poker players to take part in this event which is a bit different when compared to previous main events. Its structure is a bit different now as players will receive 60,000 chips instead of 50,000 which was the number of chips they got in 2018. Levels will last for two hours during the Main Event, and there will be no re-entries allowed. Each day, the tournament will start at noon.

If you like poker, the WSOP 2019 is something you should not miss, so make sure to find a good live stream if you don’t plan on visiting Vegas in June.
