Hard Rock Hotel and Casino hosted the RunGood Poker Series $600 Main Event for three days. It featured 499 players and had a $260,000 prize pool that exceeded its initial $100,000 guarantee. Still, players competed in three flights.
Tyler Barnes reached the final table being among the title’s top contenders. He beat his opponents to win $52,692 and the championship ring.
Barnes received the Dream Seat package entailing a seat to the Dream Seat Invitational and a travel package. The Dream Seat Invitational’s champion will participate in the PokerGO Tour (PGT) Championship $1,000,000 Freeroll with a 64-entry field.

How Things Unfolded in the Tournament
Only 63 players proceeded to the event’s Day 2. Its action’s pace gradually increased, and the field reduced to 36 after several hours.
Stacks started increasing, and the game’s pace reduced. A nine-handed final table was set at night, Barnes being one of the leading chip holders.
Bryce Laymance was the unlucky player as he got busted in ninth place after Barnes beat him in a flip. Justin Barraza staked his remaining chips in a flop and got a straight flush draw, and Kami Hudson made a top set flop. The river and turn didn’t help Barraza, and he exited the event in eighth place.
Liam Gannon followed Barraza in seventh place after 15 minutes after losing to aces. Dustin Messner lost a preflop confrontation and finished sixth.
Kami Hudson missed a runner-runner after their flopped top pair lost to a set, and they finished fifth. Brazos Roberts made a button jam and lost to a big hand in the blinds hence leaving the table in the fourth position.
The remaining finalists deliberated an ICM chop but traded chips, doubled each other and stole pots and failing to reach an agreement. Chips almost evened several times.
Miguel Degollado lost a few pots and exited the event in third place after making a small blind jam that the big blind called. Barnes had a 3:1 stack lead over Mark Barrientos when they heads-up match began.
The latter jammed over opens striving to even the chips. Unfortunately, he lost a vital flip to Barnes and finished as the runner-up with $32,331. He won $127,000 in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit Main Event.
His exit earned Barnes his first RGPS ring. Graton Casino Rohnert Park in California will host the next RunGood Poker Series on October 19th. Poker enthusiasts speculate that Barnes and other participants in the recent Tulsa Main Event will play in the upcoming RGPS stop.
