Michael Noori ended Day 1’s action after getting busted in the eighth position with $35,200. Brian Rast was the stack leader early on Day 2 and Daher was second in the chip standings. But, the latter got the chip lead and increased it after eliminating Chris Vitch in the seventh position.

Daher’s king low defeated Vitch’s pair in a triple draw hand. Mike Thorpe followed Vitch in sixth place after his 8-5 suited lost to Rast’s A-4 in the no-limit hold’em. Still, Damjan Radanov used the second nut low to face Daher’s pair of queens in an Omaha eight-or-better hand.

The river and turn didn’t help Radanov hence sending him home in fifth place. Monnette won a hand in that round as Rast collected some chips in a pot-limit Omaha hand.

Craig Chait made an all-in preflop using an ace kicker and flopped fives and jacks. Rast made that hand, and both players held live side cards. The player ended Chait’s run in fourth place after making eights and jacks.

Rast got busted in third place despite winning the huge hand. He played a big PLO pot with Daher.
