The testing phase has now ended in the state of New Jersey and six casinos have received approval for full permits for operation. During the testing phase, the Division of Gaming Enforcement were happy with the geolocation services and no major issues were reported. It was reported that the DGE Director, David Rebuck, made the announcement on Monday that the casinos were ready for action.

The Golden Nugget is still undergoing testing and is not live like the other six casinos. They will continue the ‘soft launch’ phase until further notice. There are also still banking issues in the state. As we reported earlier, certain financial institutions have opted out of offering transactions for game play including American Express, Wells Fargo, Discover Financial Services and Bank of America. These financial institutions do not want to be involved with online gambling in the US, so many players have been left without a financial options for deposit and withdrawal.
