How Ryan Won the Bracelet

Ryan Leng did not go through this tournament with ease. In fact, it was a real rollercoaster of chip possession as he managed to go from a chip leader to a short stack, and then become the chip leader again. Some of the opponents were really tough, but the toughest challenge in front of Leng was his heads-up opponent, an Estonian player called Ranno Sootla.

Leng added that Sootla was probably one of the toughest players he had played with and that he really had struggled as Sootla had been really good at his game. However, Leng is a real lover of Poker and all of this was great fun for him. In the end, it was him who won the bracelet, although he had to really do his best.

However, he also had a great support from the rail. In fact, some of his friends were there along with his family and even his girlfriend. However, the best support came from his mom, who managed to find and book the last-minute flight in order to come and watch his son win the tournament.

To make things even more interesting, Ryan always gives his poker trophies and achievements to his mother who hangs them all up on the wall in her house. It was only natural that he would give this golden bracelet to her as well.
What is interesting about his parents is that they both immediately approved of his playing poker and even supported him at the game from the beginning. Leng appreciated the encouragement definitely as his results and achievements tell more about it.

The Event #51: 1,500 No-Limit Hold’em BOUNTY had 1,982 entrants and a total pool of $2,675,700. Leng managed to win $272,504 while Sootla landed $168,329. Some of the other players that followed them are Jay Farber, Christian Nolte, Javier Gomes, Russell Rosenblum, John Gulino, Mark Mazza, and Mikhail Semin.
