The match is going to be held during the Gaming Life Expo that is held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas from July 3rd to July 6th. After several years and thousands of hours of development the Polaris 2 was created by the University of Alberta’s Computer Poker Research Group. This year’s Man vs. Machine match is going to push our team to their limit.” At last years competition the machine went up against Phil Laak and Ali Esmali and the match ended with a final score of two wins and one loss, with one statistical tie for Phil and Ali. Each round was made up of 500 duplicate hands, where the same cards were dealt to both players.
