Poker players only have a few more days before the 24/7 Poker TV network, Poker Central, will launch, offering a wide variety of poker programming. The launch date is set for October 1st and will be the beginning of poker shows on a 24/7 basis. In anticipation of the launch, Poker Central has released the programming so players and poker fans can see what will be on offer once the network is live.
Previously-aired episodes of several shows and events will be highlighted during the launch of Poker Central. This will include:
- The Big Game
- Poker After Dark
- 100 Greatest Poker Moments
- Women’s World Open
- World Poker Tour Alpha 8
- Premier League Poker
- High Stakes Poker
- Doubles Poker Championship
- High Stakes Poker
Also to be highlighted during the initial launch is the Super High Roller Bowl Cash Game, which is scheduled for December 2nd. The network will kick off with the Premier League Poker footage at 8pm ET and will continue with the Heads-Up Grand Slam and then Poker After Dark. Poker Central plans on using Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to help boost their initial launch with a special contest titled Poker Face.
Individuals can upload their very own poker face to social media outlets of Poker Central for the opportunity to win an experience like none other. The winner of the contest will be flown to Las Vegas, Nevada to the Aria Casino and Resort to meet a poker pro and receive a poker lesson. The poker pro will either be Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari or Phil Hellmuth, all of which will be judges of the contest, and all who are working with the poker network.
