One of the biggest of mainland Europe’s poker tournaments is called partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Europe, and it will once again take place in King’s Resort. The casino is located in the city of Rozvadov in the Czech Republic, located on the border with Germany. The tournament started Aug. 9 and will last for nine days through Aug. 18. There will be a total of 18 tournaments, two of them being Triton Poker events.

Tournaments Overview
The Triton 100K Super High Roller will require a buy-in of €100,000, and some of the best players in the poker world are expected to take part in it. The event will last for two days, starting on Aug. 12. Every player will get a total of 100,000 in chips, and the blinds will increase every 45 minutes all the way through the tournament. The number of entries is unlimited until all registrations close.
The second important tournament is Triton Short Deck, which will start on Aug. 13 and last for two days as well. The required buy-in for this event is €25,500. Short Deck events are similar to Hold ’em, but there are a couple of significant changes to the rules that make all the difference.
First of all, it is called short deck because all cards from deuces to fives are removed from the deck, meaning there are only 36 cards available for playing. One small addition to the card ranking is that a flush will always beat a full house in this type of poker game.
Every player will get a total of 300,000 chips, and blinds will increase every 40 minutes. Furthermore, players are allowed up to three re-entries until the start of the second day.
Main Event
The last and the most important event at partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Europe is the Main Event which will start on Aug. 14 and 15. There will be a guaranteed prize pool of €5 million, and there will be a starting chip stack of 1,000,000. Blinds will increase every hour, and registrations will be available until the start of the second day.
