Lock Poker’s Problems Continue to Linger…

Lock's sinking shipOnline poker rooms have to be able to provide certain standards for players to trust and feel secure when using the site. The top sites in the industry understand this and offer quality security and safety measures so that players can feel comfortable when sitting down at the virtual felt. Unfortunately, some poker rooms fall well below the grade and this can cause major issues within the company and of course their player base.

One such struggling company is Lock Poker. Obv (sorry, couldn’t resist).

Lock has been in trouble for some time now, from customer support problems to of course their mounting cashout issues. The latter could very well sink their once-flourishing operation. It’s gotten so bad that even Poker Affiliate Solutions recently reported that Lock Poker has received an “F” grade for their cashout speeds. The site is now in the ranks of Everleaf and Juicy Stakes for their payment processing procedures.

In the aformentioned report, Lock Poker has been given an “F” grade because they are having major difficulty with cashing out and these issues continue to be brought up under public scrutiny.  It’s hard to believe that just a year ago they were one of the best rooms to play at and receive quick cashouts…oh how the mighty have fallen.

A player from Lock Poker has taken to the TwoPlusTwo forums under the name IHasTehNutz and reported about withdrawals. A spreadsheet was recently posted which showed that over $200,000 in pending requests from dozens of players alone. The request is well over 2 months old and its NOT just USA players – this is for players around the globe.  According to the data, some players are seeing Western Union withdrawals taking more than four months and checks are taking as long as eight months to arrive. This is a very slow process, especially when compared to top competitors.

The problems have escalated so much that Lock Poker even dropped their sponsored forum at 2+2 and would only address player concerns at their own forum at LockPoker.eu – a forum that actually requires a certain amount of rake in order to participate in and one that is HEAVILY moderated.  Remember that sinking ship we’ve been speculating about for months now?   It seems Lock’s capsizing is that much closer to being imminent…
