Earlier this week, Full Tilt Poker announced they have re-launched a new player loyalty program and the popular pre-Black Friday “Black Card” option will be back in action. The new program will offer new incentive options for VIP players and so much more.
VIPs will be able to use rewards with other online poker rooms to move their player loyalty status. Black Card holders will have the option to turn their FTP points into cash in seconds, with all amounts in full value. There will be no requirements for play through. Potentially, players can earn as much as 40% in instant cash payouts each week!
Players who hold a Black Card can also may choose to take part in a new sponsorship program that is based on results. This is the first program of this type and was created for players by players. This option will be available starting in July and players will be able to access sponsorship contracts in different formats including: multi-table tournaments, sit n gos and more. The contracts will move on a six month basis based on the best players in certain categories.
Sarne Lightman, the Head of Marketing at FTP, commented on the new options by stating:
“Over the next few weeks we will be reaching out to the poker community to help us design these performance metrics. We want the players who will be competing for sponsorship to design the measurement systems for their performance, and we will then reward the best players.”
Another unique option is that FTP is now offering players the opportunity to transfer status from another site. This option is called VIP Amnesty and is allowed through April. Players will be able to apply statuses they have at other sites to the FTP site.
Lightman commented on this as well, stating:
“We understand that players have put many hours, weeks and sometimes months into earning their VIP status on other sites while unable to play on Full Tilt Poker. The amnesty will allow them to trial our Edge Rewards and Black Card programs at the equivalent level and see for themselves the superior benefits their play level offers at Full Tilt Poker.”
To access this option, players will need to email a photo to prove their status at another online poker site. The player username must be included in the photograph.
