Full Tilt Announces FTOPS XIII Schedule

Full Tilt Poker recently announced the schedule for the upcoming FTOPS XIII. The thirteenth edition of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series is set to begin on August 5^th and continue through the 16^th with twenty five events offering sixteen million in guaranteed prize money.

The MiniFTOPS will also be back after it gained popularity from last year’s debut. The MiniFTOPS will feature the same twenty five events as the FTOPS XIII but with 1/10 the buy-in levels. This gives all players the chance to participate in some type of FTOPS event.

The tournament series will begin with a $200 plus $16 No Limit Hold’em event which will have a $1 million prize pool guarantee. Many players look forward to the high stakes event which takes place over two days. This year’s high stakes event begins on the 15^th just one day before the Main event. The high stakes event will have a buy-in of $2,500 plus $120 and feature a $2 million guarantee. The Main Event will have a buy-in of $500 plus $35 and offer $2.5 million in guaranteed prize money.

Hosts of the events have yet to be named but Full Tilt will be divulging those details soon.  An Ante Up For Africa event is scheduled as well during FTOPS which will take place on August 15^th. The buy-in for this event is $100 plus $20 and the entire tournament fee will be donated to the charity.

Those who want to participate in the MiniFTOPS will have to wait a little longer. The MiniFTOPS is set for September 9^th for those who may not have the money for the higher buy-ins of the FTOPS events. The Mini version will offer at least $400K in guarantee prizes with satellites available for as little as fifty cents or fifty FTPs.
