Online gambling operators in the state of Delaware had a nice month in July, earning the most ever for the month since launching in 2013. For July, the three online gaming operators were able to earn $281,000, which is quite a bit higher than the earnings from July of last year, at $142,000.

2015’s earnings were actually lower than the July of 2014, which brought in $172,000. This year, the month of July saw a huge boost in earnings, over $130,000 in additional revenues, based on the figures provided by the Delaware Lottery.

Of the amount earned for this year’s July, the state saw around $161, 000 produced by the video lottery. Table games brought in around $86,000 while poker gaming earned $33,000. Each category saw an increase in earnings when compared to 2015’s breakdown.

Delaware Park was the top earner for the month with $130,000 in online gambling revenues, with Dover Downs at a close second with $114,000 in earnings. Harrington Raceway has yet to bring in high revenues, only earning $60,000 for the month.

The three “racinos” offer land-based gaming as well as online casino and poker game play. The state currently has a deal with the state of Nevada to share liquidity when it comes to online poker. As far as online gambling revenues are concerned, the state is at the bottom of the three who offer such gaming, behind New Jersey and Nevada. Delaware is a small state and continues to lack the traffic numbers to see massive amounts when it comes to revenue earnings.

Overall, the state continues to do well with iGaming revenues, as evidenced by the solid increase month after month. From March to June of this year, the state saw an increase each month as players continued to log online and take part in casino and poker games.
