Card Player Poker Tour is a series of poker matches launched by Card Player Media. The live tournament is returning to bestbet Jacksonville, a poker hotspot in North Florida. The facility has already hosted two tournaments this year, including the winter open and the spring series.

The two marquee tournament series were a success with over 4600 entries. The two also awarded around $3.3 million in prize cash to various players across 22 events.

The other big poker series will see bestbet Jacksonville come together with card player media for an 11-event series. This will be the eighth time Card Player Poker Tour will be working with bestbet Jacksonville. The event will run from 17th June to 28th June 2021.

Bestbet Executive Director of Poker Operations Jesse Hollander was excited announcing that he was excited about the Card Player Poker Tour. He added that June’s event would be the first partnership bestbet has had since reopening its doors last year. When asked whether the demand for a poker tournament was high, Hollander answered that he expected the hype to continue.

Jesse confirmed that the previous two main events had a little under $500 million prize pool and hoped that upcoming events would yield higher prize pools. He added that players were excited to return to tournament poker.

More About the Summer Poker Tournament

The summer poker tournament will begin with a no-limit hold ’em event with a buy-in of $560. There will be three starting flights to choose from and one final table event. This will be streamed on 20th June on the bestbetLIVE. The other action will kick off on 25th June and run through 28th June. This card player poker tour main event will require a buy-in of $2500. Two starting flights will be available and will kick off at noon on scheduled dates.

Bestbet executive director explained that the higher buy-in was because of increased demand. Hollander said that people were interested in playing higher buy-in tournaments as it built a bigger prize pool.

Hollander also noted that the buy-in could be out of reach for local clients but assured that there would be satellite opportunities. These opportunities will provide hundreds of players with an opportunity to enter the main event at a discounted buy-in.

Players participating in these events will begin with 30,000 chips and 40-minute blind levels. As with other tournaments, there will be no limitation on entry to the main event. Players can register for the event until the beginning of level 10 of the event.
