Buffalo Bills Vs. San Francisco 49ers Monday Night Football Betting Preview

The Bills will be in Arizona to face the Cardinals on Monday night. That is not a typo. San Francisco, due to a recent Covid outbreak, can no longer host games in San Fran. And so, they will be calling Arizona their home for the next two home games on their schedule. It will be part of a Monday night doubleheader, a sight that has become pretty familiar in 2020.

Buffalo comes in, the top of the AFC East but, Miami just picked up the eighth victory of the season. And so, a win will be needed for them to stay at the top by themselves. Josh Allen has had a fantastic season thus far, and he will look to continue to swing the ball well and help his team out.

On the other side, the banged-up 49ers have been playing decent football. They will need to win once again to keep pace with the Vikings and the Cardinals for that final spot in the NFC. We will see if they are up for the challenge of beating a talented Bills team.

ODDS:

The spread for Monday’s game favors San Fran by 1.5 points.

Buffalo Looking for Another Dub

If you are a long-time fan of the Buffalo Bills, the last couple of years have probably been some of the best of your life. They have turned themselves into legitimate contenders in the AFC, with an exciting brand of football leading the way. Josh Allen is going rushing touchdowns like an RB.

Sean McDermott has done a really excellent job at the helm. His guys always seem to respond to anything he has to say, and the defense always knows when it has to come up and make a play to lead the team. There has not yet been a game this season in which the team has looked like they don’t belong with the opposition. They always pose a threat.

When you break it down, this is just a team that plays hard and hates losing. That simple trait is what makes them a contender: the will to win and the desire to succeed.

49ers Seeking Critical Win

Is there even a fair way to critique the season for the 49ers? They have had injuries at every single key position and have not been healthy since the first game of the year. They lost Jimmy G a while back, they don’t really have the running backs healthy consistently, and Nick Bosa suffered the season-ending injury right off the bat.

Nick Mullens hasn’t been horrible at the helm, but he’s certainly not a leader that Jimmy is. The team will likely not repeat its NFC champions, barring the unforeseen. All they can do is hope to be competitive and to try and win.

It is extremely surprising that the 49ers are favored to win this game—especially given that it will be played on a neutral field, but perhaps, Kyle Shanahan can help his team get it done.

“Underdog” Bills Prevail

Sorry 49ers, but this will not be your week. In the second game of Monday’s doubleheader, Buffalo comes out on top.
