GGPoker is changing situations for these players. Through the Road to Vegas 2023 campaign, GGPoker plans to give over 300 players tickets to the $10,000 WSOP 2023 Main Event.
This campaign is already on. In fact, over 1,000 players have tried their luck to win a ticket. The best part is that 300 players are already sure they will attend the Main Event, thanks to GGPoker.
Even the spokesperson for GGPoker said that the company was ahead of its expectation. Originally, the poker operator planned to give around 300 tickets only. However, the new data shows that the company will give more than 500 packages to the prestigious event.
WSOP projects to make this year’s event the biggest ever. In line with that, its exclusive international partner is doing several things to ensure the success of the event.
One of the things the poker room is doing is sending over 500 players to the Main Event through its online poker room. GGPoker also wants to send another 100 players through ClubGG, a sweepstakes poker platform.
Canadian players will also have a chance to come to Vegas to participate in the event. They can win their free tickets through satellites hosted on GGPoker.ca.
How Can You Win a Free Ticket?
Several satellites and qualifiers are running every day. Some of these have low buy-ins of $1 that most players can afford.
Some satellites are designed to allow winners a direct seat to the Main Event. In other words, players do not have to play several qualifying events to get a ticket to the Main Event. Instead, they can enter a satellite with at least $250 to get a shot at the Main Event.
Alternatively, you can play sub-satellites with buy-ins of $15 until you qualify for a ticket to the Main Event. Once you win, you will get a package worth $12,000.
This amount caters to the buy-in of the Main Event, worth $10,000. The remaining amount goes to cover $1,000 in travel expenses, while the rest will go to your hotel stay at the Horseshoe Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. Other perks come with the package, including access to the GGPoker Platinum Lounge and merchandise.
WSOP U.S. Network Running Its Own Satellites
GGPoker is not working alone. WSOP is also running its satellites across its three networks in the U.S. The satellite buy-in starts at $215, higher than the buy-ins GGPoker is offering.
The giant guarantees one seat to the WSOP 2023 Main Event for every satellite. There is no data showing how many people the WSOP U.S. network has sent to the Main Event.
The poker operator plans to give at least 112 more seats starting June through a Seat Sprint campaign. Winamax is also running satellites, giving Spanish and French players a shot at the Main Event in Las Vegas.
