Bodog Poker has announced it is now hosting 2008 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) Qualifiers every day at the online poker room. The 2008 WSOPE Semifinals, scheduled for September 7th at Bodog Poker, guarantees at least 2 seats in the WSOP Europe Main Event.
Bodog Poker’s 2008 WSOPE Main Event prize package is worth $24,000 – about $20,000 to cover the buy-in (£10,000), plus round-trip airfare, stylish travel to and from the airport, luxury hotel accommodations, Team Bodog player gear and spending cash.
WSOPE Qualifiers have already begun at Bodog Poker, running daily for as little as $1 to enter. All qualifiers will send their respective winners on a trek towards the WSOPE Semi-final, where at least two players will be awarded the 2008 WSOPE Main Event prize package.
The 2008 WSOPE Main Event, No Limit Texas Hold’em, will run for 6 days, September 27th – October 2nd, at London Clubs International in London, England.
Last year, Bodog Poker sent Matt McCullough to the inaugural WSOP Europe Main Event via online qualifier competitions, and he made history by becoming the last remaining American player in the event. McCullough survived a field of 623 participants to finish in 3rd place, earning $766,674.
