Yaamava Casino Resort in California opened The 909 Sports Bar on November 17, 2021. The bar’s name pays homage to San Manuel as it uses the Inland Empire’s famous area code as its name.

The sports bar runs throughout the week and offers food service between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. from Mondays to Fridays and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. on weekends.

Lynn Valbuena, San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Chairwoman, said in a statement that they are proud to expand the casino and resort to offer a safe and fun entertainment space that satisfies different entertainment needs. Guests can attend concerts, cheer their teams in the venue and visit its spa.

More Details About The 909 Sports Bar

The sports bar started hosting casino goers more than a year ago. DJ Jojo treated them to an exciting set while the L.A. Kings drumline performed.

The Pines and Finish Line Bar once occupied the casino’s second floor, where the sports bar is currently located. Besides, it is the casino’s latest addition to the $550 million expansion project it kicked off in 2018. Its state-of-the-art food hall is considered to be Southern California’s ultimate sports bar.

It has 78 bat-top gaming seats, the highest number in any sports hub globally. Yaamava used LUCI System to build a 20k LED Archway and a 50′ by 12′ gameday screen that can offer a 360-degree viewing experience while displaying content on 150 screens.

Still, it has a full bar containing 32 rotating craft beers on tap. They include SoCal’s breweries such as Pizza Port, Buzz Rock, Brewery X, and Hanger24.

The bar has unique vintage, limits, and seasonal choices from Bottle Logic, The Bruery, and Los Abbey. Moreover, it has four food options, including Thai Chi 2 and Just Barbeque (JBQ) on the first floor of Get it, Grill, Pizza Mayhem, and Tutu’s Food Court.

The New Casino Resort

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians held a grand opening ceremony for the Yaamava Resort and Casino on December 13, 2021, and it was a huge milestone in its transformation. The San Manuel Casino rebranded in September 2021 to Yaamava Resort Casino.

Yaamava represents Yaamava Resort Casino’s emergence as the West Coast’s largest casino, and it means “spring season.” The property was initially launched in 1986 as the San Manuel Indian Bingo before transforming into a 100,000 square feet casino in 1994. It added table games and slot machines before rebranding to San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino.

The Bingo Hall was later renamed San Manuel Casino in 2017 when it closed. It revealed a huge expansion plan in 2018 that included adding extra parking, games, an event venue, and a hotel.

Yaamava Casino Resort celebrated opening a 17-floor hotel tower last year. The gaming venue’s expansion aided the development of new bars, The Serrano Vista Café, and relocating The Pines to the first floor. It launched the Yaamava Theater in April.

The casino is at 777 San Manuel Boulevard in Highland, California. It has 121,300 square feet of gaming space containing five high-limit rooms,38 poker tables, 135 table games, and 6,500 slot machines.
