The Maximum Capacity Increases
The Star Sydney was allowed a total of 1,800 guests when the limits were imposed on it. However, it can now increase them to about 10,000 as its square meterage will enable it. The property started working with increased capacity on Monday.
This is a result of the New South Wales’ government’s lifting of restrictions. During the restriction, one guest was allowed for every four square meters (43 square feet) on the gaming floor. This has been reduced to one patron per two square meters (21.5 square feet).
Queensland has also relaxed its policies related to Covid-19 too, and that is also good news for The Star Gold Coast and Treasury Brisbane. The Queensland government also changed its policies to two meters per patron, and the two properties located in the region will see its full slot machine and table game potential back.
