The Venetian Las Vegas is opening a new high-limit gaming space on the Palazzo casino floor on September 29, 2023. The new change is one of the many changes at the Venetian since Las Vegas Sands sold the property two years ago.
The high-limit gaming lounge is inside the Palazzo Tower. It is the latest innovation on the property. Previously, the new property owner has spent around $1 billion to renovate the entertainment venues, hotel, and casino floor.
The new gaming lounge is slightly smaller than the previous in size, amenities, and games. According to the president and chief executive officer of the Venetian, the new lounge was designed to optimize players’ experience.
Patrick Nichols told KTNV Las Vegas that the new gaming venue was meant to be an elevated yet not exclusive destination for players. The Venetian president described the new project as a statement showing the operator’s commitment to invest in its guests.
According to Patrick, the high-limit gaming lounge is just one step forward in the casino’s multi-year revolution. The venue features an artfully designed background reflecting the resort’s vision and exceeding guests’ expectations.
Inside the New High-Limit Gaming Space
The high-limit limit gaming venue sits on 15,000 square feet of space. It was designed by Wimberly Interiors.
The lounge has two distinct spaces, one dedicated to slot machines and the other to table games. There is also a space dedicated to bartop gaming machines. Inside the bar space, players will enjoy adult beverages and indulge in a special cocktail program.
The slot machine space will carry 67 machines, including new video slots and traditional reel machines. You will also find several single and multi-hand video poker games and jackpots with prizes exceeding $2 million.
Meanwhile, the table games space will carry 18 table games. It will have craps, roulette, blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold ’em, and commission-free tiger baccarat, among other titles.
Interestingly, the Ultimate Texas Hold ’em games will be integrated into the resort’s Millionaire Progressive. This will allow players to place progressive side bets, hoping to win the jackpot. The casino has paid the jackpot 11 times since the Millionaire Progressive debuted.
The new high-limit lounge will have a casino host, restrooms, and private cashiers. There will be a self-pay feature, allowing players to claim their jackpot payments without necessarily waiting for a cashier to pay the amount.
The chief gaming officer describes the new room as a perfect space for players looking for an elevated yet inviting experience. Danny Ruiz told Casino City Times that the new lounge would provide a premium gaming experience to its guests.
Fontainebleau Las Vegas Opens in December
Meanwhile, Fontainebleau Las Vegas is also set to open later this year. The gaming venue is yet to get an all-clear from the Nevada Gaming Control Board. However, the operator already had a preliminary hearing with the gambling regulator in July and will likely get regulatory approval soon.
The casino will have around 1300 slot machines and 127 table games. Justin Timberlake and Post Malone are scheduled to perform at the casino once it launches on December 13.
