O’Sheas Las Vegas to Reopen December 27

osheasThe popular Las Vegas bar and casino known as O’Sheas will reopen on December 27.  O’Sheas will relaunch in a different location.  It will be in the Linq complex.  This is the development behind Flamingo that will offer the giant observation wheel that may be seen throughout Las Vegas.  The Linq will offer bars, restaurants and shopping.

O’Sheas was known for its low limit Texas Hold’em, cheap blackjack, beer pong and cheap drinks.  One thing O’Sheas will not offer is good blackjack.  According to an image on Vegas Chatter, at least one blackjack game will pay 6-5 on a natural.  It seems likely that there will be more than just one table with this short pay.  The previous O’Sheas paid 6-5 on a blackjack at every one of its tables.

O’Sheas was once located between Flamingo and Imperial Palace.  It closed on April 30, 2012 to make room for the expansion of Imperial Palace, which is now known as the Quad.  The former location is now the site of table games under the Quad’s roof.  These games include Three Card Poker, roulette, craps and blackjack.  In keeping with the tradition under O’Sheas, 6-5 blackjack action is prominent at Quad.

Other Linq shops will open on December 27.  These include Haute Doggery and Purple Zebra.  More tenants will open their doors starting in February.  That is when Yard House will open.  Other future restaurants include Tilted Kilt and Flour & Barley.
