One of the most popular online casino content developers in the world, Microgaming, announced that it would release a brand new title later in 2020 which is inspired by Game of Thrones.
This is not the first GoT slot that the developer has made. In fact, its relationship with HBO started back in 2014, and the result was a branded slot that has the Game of Thrones name to it.
However, it decided to extend their partnership a bit and make another GoT online video slot that will come with upgraded graphics, new features, and more.

Jean-Luc Ferriere, Chief Commercial Officer at Microgaming, stated in the official press release that the Game of Thrones brand had managed to gain a huge following among the viewers. Moreover, he stated that Microgaming was excited to extend the partnership with HBO and create a new online casino game based on Game of Thrones.
Finally, Ferriere concluded that the company would be “working hard to deliver a quality, feature-rich slot game.”

Back in 2011, when the first season of Game of Thrones was launched, people did not expect that the series would grow into a global phenomenon. What made it really popular is that there were several interesting plot twists that were never seen before on television, skyrocketing the popularity of the show.
Based on an epic fantasy saga book series by George RR Martin called “A Song of Ice and Fire,” Game of Thrones follows the lives of kings, queens, and ordinary folk living in a mythical land. Although there’s magic and dragons, the show’s popularity mainly stems from clever dialogues and in-depth characters, where none happen to be purely black or white.
Only a couple of seasons into the show, and the entire world was hooked on it. Everyone waited for new episodes to see what would happen to their favorite characters, such as Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, Jamie Lannister, and literally dozens of others.
Although many fans agree that the ending was a bit disappointing, this did not stop them from loving the show. In fact, many consider it the best show of all time, which is a really big title to bear.
Since the show is over, the “World of Ice and Fire” is not. In other words, more content based around Westeros and Essos is being prepared as fans are seeking various ways to return to this imaginary world.
All eyes are now on Martin, who still has two more books to write and publish to complete the story that was altered in the TV series.
