PokerStars Ready to Make Another Big Splash

There are a number of live poker events set to take place throughout the year, and the World Series of Poker is one that many are looking forward to. The WSOP will be taking place throughout the summer months, though, leaving players to look for other events the remainder of the year.

PokerStars is working hard to fill the rest of the year as the North American Poker Tour will be making a return in November. That event is set to run from November 1-10, and it’s going to be an event that is bigger than ever.

The North American Poker Tour (NAPT) will be back at Resorts World Las Vegas, and this is a casino that is known for hosting some massive events. Thousands of players converged on Resorts World a year ago for this event, and that number could be doubled this year.

There will be a $5,300 buy-in Main Event taking place at the North American Poker Tour, and that is a much larger buy-in than what took place a year ago. The main event in 2023 had just over 1,000 players, and those competitors paid a little more than $1,000.

Checking Out 2023 Results

The NAPT used to be an annual event, but there was a long gap between events ahead of 2023. PokerStars ended a 10-year drought with the 2023 NAPT, and it went off much better than expected.

Sami Bechahed ended up winning the Main Event at the 2023 tournament, and he walked away with over $268,000. While Bechahed was able to win the top prize, there were some other live poker players that cashed in at other smaller tournaments.

Samuel Laskowitz was another notable winner at the NAPT, and he took home $180,850 by coming up with a win at the $5,300 High Roller Tournament. Jesse Lonis another player that has had a ton of success in Las Vegas, and he walked away with a massive prize as well.

All of these players are expected to compete in the 2024 version of this event, and the available prizes are going to be much bigger this time around.

Other Big Events

More information about the NAPT festival in November can be found on the PokerStars website, but this isn’t an event that will come with crazy rules. Since PokerStars had so much success a year ago, it is going to be upping the payouts and adding more money to the available prize pool.

This event is going to be open to players of all experience levels, but there will be a chance to cash in regardless of what tournaments players enter. While the main event is expected to attract the most participants, others are going to want to get into the smaller tournaments along the way.

Last year’s event drew national attention as the television show, “The Big Game” was filming live and on site. It’s not clear if that will be the case again this year, but there will still be some national intrigue.
