The World Series of Poker circuit stopped at HarveyÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Lake Tahoe hotel and casino in Nevada to host poker tournaments and one in particular was the Ladies Poker Championship. The tournament was for ladies to compete in but twenty two year old student Greg Sessler entered the tournament and took down the win with a pair of Queens.
A field of 248 players registered to compete in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker Circuit Horseshoe Chicago. The tournament had a $5,200 buy-in and it was twenty two year old Dan Livingston who took down the first place prize of $291,749.
