The USC Trojans will travel in the state to take on the UCLA Bruins for what’s expected to be one of the best college basketball games of the day. With what UCLA has done the season, it’s easy to see why many believe that this team has a chance of being one of the top teams in America once again this year. USC, on the other hand, has played well but can certainly be better. They come into this one unranked and are currently 11-4.

Those are some of the best teams in America, and it would make sense if they find a way to continue dominating just as they have all season.
Jaime Jaquez Jr. is the guy to watch out for in this game. He comes in averaging 17.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, and is shooting an insanely efficient 53.5% as a guard. What he’s able to do on both sides of the basketball allows UCLA to play through him, and he’s a major reason why this team is currently in the position that they’re in.
USC Can Win This Game
The USC Trojans might be getting overlooked a bit here. Although the team does have some disappointing losses against teams like Washington State, Wisconsin, Tennessee, and Florida Gulf Coast, for the most part, this team has played extremely well. They have impressive wins over Auburn, Oregon State, Washington, Colorado State, BYU, and Vermont. If they can come out and replicate what they were able to do in some of those games, they should be able to find themselves in a good position on Thursday night.
Drew Peterson is certainly the guy to watch out for on the Trojans as he comes into this one averaging 14 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.3 assists. He’s one of the top players on the team and should be able to get going on Thursday.
USC vs. UCLA Betting Prediction
Because of how high the spread is in this game and how well USC has also played for parts throughout the season, it’s certainly not a bad idea to think about taking them. Although UCLA has certainly been the better team, giving USC 12 points in a rivalry and match-up like this seems a bit questionable. It might not be a bad idea to think about putting money on USC to cover this game. If they come out and do what they’ve done for parts through the season, they have a legitimate opportunity of even winning the game outright.
