The Milwaukee Brewers visit Chase Field in Phoenix Tuesday night to face off against the Diamondbacks. The contest will begin at 8:40 pm central time. Milwaukee is 24-17 on the season so far, putting them in first place in the National League Central division, one-half game ahead of the St. Louis Cardinals. Meanwhile, the Diamondbacks are also in first place, two and a half games ahead of the Rockies. Although it is early in the season, both of these teams are going to want to keep their first place status. Jhoulys Chacin gets the nod for Milwaukee. Chacin is 3-1 on the year, and is the owner of a 4.00 ERA. He will look to have a strong outing to improve his ERA
On the other side, Zack Greinke will take the hill for Arizona. Greinke is 3-2 on the year, and owns a 3.70 ERA. Arizona is favored in this matchup: at -1.5.

Milwaukee Brewers
Looking at the list of regularly participating batters, Jesus Aguilar’s stats stand out. Aguilar is batting .313 on the year. Combined with this impressive average, he has also driven in 14 runs while clubbing 3 homeruns. Aguilar is also slugging an impressive .526, getting himself in scoring position en route to crossing the plate 14 times.
Christian Yelich will be another player to watch on Tuesday night. Yelich is batting .299 on the year thus far. He has also driven 15 runs, a number which he will look to increase. This will be no easy task against the nearly untouchable Corbin.
Arizona Diamondbacks
One player betters will definitely have to keep an eye on is A.J. Pollock. Pollock has been hitting the cover off of the ball this year. His average is a decent .293 so far. However, his most impressive stat is the fact that he has driven in 33 runs this season. He also has clubbed 11 home runs.
David Peralta has been another consistent contributor for Arizona. He has hit .288 so far this year. Combined with this good stat are his 21 runs batted in, which will definitely make him a player to watch, especially with runners in scoring position. Look for runners to do whatever they have to do to get on base when Aguilar and Peralta Presets are stepping up to the plate. The consistent power numbers from Arizona could prove to be too much for Milwaukee’s Chacin.
Diamondbacks top Brewers
As impressive as Chacin has been throughout this season, the Diamondbacks have been hitting the ball more impressively than he has been throwing it. I believe that Arizona will be able to get men on base, and Jesus Aguilar and David Peralta will be able to drive in enough to get the job done. Plus, even though Zack Greinke hasn’t quite had the dominant season he would have hoped for, it’s always tough to bet against someone who has been as consistent as him throughout his career.
