Bears Trying to Recover From Last Week

The Bears are coming off a heartbreaking loss in their previous game. They fell 30-27 in overtime to the New York Giants. The Bears were down 10 with two minutes left in the game but stormed back to force overtime. Cody Parkey hit a field goal, then the Bears recovered an onside kick and drove the ball down the field for a touchdown. In overtime, the Giants kicked a field goal and the Bears offense couldn’t move the ball. Chase Daniel threw for 285 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen combined for 106 yards on the ground.

Rams are the Total Package

The Rams have been an all-around solid team this season, getting it done both on offense and defense. The offense ranks second in the league in total yards and points scored with 440 yards per game and 35 points per game. Todd Gurley has been the story on offense, as he has compiled 1175 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns. Jared Goff has been magnificent as well, with 27 touchdowns versus only 7 interceptions. The defense has done just enough to get things done this year and are in the middle of the pack statistically. They rank 18th in yards allowed and 19th in points allowed. When you have a juggernaut offense, the defense can get away with allowing a few points.

The Bears, on the other hand, have been getting it done mostly on the defensive end. Preseason acquisition Khalil Mack has been a force on this defense that ranks 3rd in total yards allowed per game and 5th in points allowed per game. The offense has been solid for the most part, but without Trubisky have faltered a bit. The Bears should get Trubisky back in what is a big statement game for them.

Rams vs. Bears Prediction

The Rams come into this game as 3-point favorites. Even with Trubisky back, the Rams defense should be able to keep the Bears offense quiet for most of the game. The Bears defense is good, but the Rams offense is better and should be able to put up a ton of points like normal. The Rams win by at least a touchdown. Take the Rams -3.
