Colton Parayko scored a goal and had an assist in game 2 and Jaden Schwartz tallied a goal in game 2. Dallas Cleaned up for Game 2
The Stars won their 1st round matchup against Nashville 4-2 as well and lost just 1 game at home in the series which happened to be game 3. Roope Hintz leads the Stars with 4 goals this postseason and has 7 points. Jamie Benn leads the team in assists with 6 and has 2 goals to lead the team in points with 8. Ben Bishop has been great this postseason, saving 255 of his 272 shot attempts for a save percentage of .938. Bishop allowed just 4 goals in 3 home games against the Predators in the 1st round.
In game 1, Jamie Benn and Jason Spezza each tallied goals. Benn had an assist in game 2 but Spezza was nonexistent. Roope Hintz led the way in game 2 as he scored 2 goals and tallied an assist, with one goal coming on an empty net. Miro Heiskanen scored a goal in game 2 as well as Mattias Janmark. Jason Dickinson and Mats Zuccarello each tallied 2 assists in this game and Jamie Benn picked up 1 helper. The Stars have gone 1 for 4 on the power play this series.
Blues Road Warriors
The Stars are -120. Ben Bishop has definitely been the better goaltender this series, but Jordan Binnington has been better overall this season. Binnington has allowed some weak goals this postseason and has been unlucky at times. There has been points when he keeps the Blues in the game when they are getting dominated in possession. Also, the Blues have not lost a game on the road this postseason and do not get rattled by the road crowd. In the famous words of Jordan Binnington, “Do I look nervous?” I think Binnington will come out with something to prove after having a bad game 2 and lead the Blues to an important road victory here.
