We should have one of the more lopsided games of the NHL slate on Tuesday night as the Nashville Predators will be taking on the Boston Bruins. Nashville is one of the more interesting teams in the NHL this season, as many believe that this team does have a bright future.
However, their play this season hasn’t been too impressive as they sit at 36-28-8. They still have 80 points and are fighting for a playoff spot, but they haven’t done anything like the Boston Bruins have done this season.
It’s tough to say that any team has done what Boston has done this year, but that’s just a testimony to what this squad has done all season long. They’ve undoubtedly been the best team in hockey, and that’s evident as they have 16 more points than the second team in the league.
Boston Just Keeps Winning
When looking at what the Boston Bruins have done this season, it’s easy to see why people do believe that this team is the favorite heading into the Stanley Cup Playoffs. There are only a few games left for them, and they realize that they need things to work on heading into the postseason.
They come into this one at 57-11-5 and have played excellent hockey throughout the entire season. It’s not going to be an easy task for them to get the job done as the Predators are fighting for that playoff spot, but the Bruins should be able to come out and do what they’ve been able to do all season long. They typically don’t take their opponents lightly, and that’s something that many good teams typically fail to do.
There’s a reason why they come into this one at -300 on the money line and -1.5 on the puck line. If you want to bet them to win on the 60 Minute line, those odds would be -180. The sportsbooks expect the Bruins to win, and it would make sense if that does happen.
Huge Game for Nashville
Despite the tough season for the Nashville Predators, this team has proven that the future of the organization might be the brightest out of any team in the NHL. They come into this one playing some disappointing hockey throughout their last 10 games, sitting at 5-4-1 and losing their last two.
Although those two losses were against tough Maple Leafs and Kraken teams, they still were hopeful that they were going to be able to come away with a win in either one of those games. Losing any more throughout the remainder of the season could drastically affect their playoff chances and that’s unfortunate for them given the year that they’ve had.

Although this game is a bit interesting because Nashville has proven that they can compete with some of the top teams in the NHL, taking the Bruins to win this game at -1.5 for -125 odds doesn’t seem like a bad idea. The Bruins are easily the best team in the NHL, and betting on them is never a bad idea.
