MoneyLine NFL Wildcard Pick for the Giants vs. Packers on Jan 8, 2017

NFL Wild Card Weekend

One of the best postseason games will be played on Sunday in the National Football League. The New York Giants will battle the Green Bay Packers. The winner of this game will take on the Atlanta Falcons next weekend. The New York Giants come into the game with 11 wins. Those 11 wins placed second place in the NFC East. The Giants beat Washington in Week 17 to knock their divisional rival from postseason contender.

On the other side, the Green Bay Packers are looking for their 7th straight win. The Packers downed the Lions last week to wrap up the NFC North title. While the Packers are the favorite to win this game, we have a great Moneyline NFL Wildcard pick for the Giants vs. the Packers.

Packers Led by Rodgers

The Green Bay Packers, are of course led by Aaron Rodgers. The signal caller for the Packers has a chance at a Most Valuable Player award. The quarterback threw 40 touchdowns passes, which was just ahead of Matt Ryan. Green Bay averaged 262 passing yards per game this season. Jordy Nelson was the top target for Rodgers. Nelson caught 97 passes, for more than 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns.

The Packers went through a spell where they lost four straight games. Since that point, the Packers are winning games by nearly 12 points per game. Green Bay went to the postseason a season ago, only to be downed by Arizona.

Giants Looking for a Deep Run

The New York Giants had a strong 2016 season under the leadership of head coach Ben McAdoo. The Giants were strong defensively, which was not a strong suit coming into the season. New York allowed teams to score just 17.8 points per game. The Redskins in the regular season finale were able to just muster up 10 points. In fact, in the last 5 wins for the Giants, they did not allow a team to score 20 or more.

The Giants on the other side are one of the worst rushing teams in all of the league. Eli Manning will be counted on to pass the football. He and Odell Beckham Jr connected 101 times, 10 of them for touchdowns.

Betting Pick for the Packers vs. Giants Game

This game is going to be a pretty exciting game. The Green Bay Packers are favorites in this game, and the moneyline is not worth it with a 5 point spread. It’s most likely best just to bet on the New York Giants, and be hopeful Eli Manning does not turn the football over.

The Giants will use their passing game to beat the Green Bay Packers at their own game. On Sunday, if you are making a moneyline bet on the National Football League wildcard game, take the New York Giants. The New York Giants +200 is a pretty good bet for Sunday.
