Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks Betting Preview

An exciting divisional battle within the NFC West will be taking place in primetime on Thursday. The loser of this game will fall into third place in the division while the winner will have to await the 49ers result off their bye week to see who resides at the top. LA has not performed as we expected them to, their 3-1 start very much fool’s gold to see how they have been performing. They have struggled with turnovers, but do still have a chance to get to 4-1 with a win.

As always, Seattle’s Russell Wilson is off to a strong start, leading a team that has injuries across the board to some great success. He always seems to find great chemistry with his wide receivers, whether they be returners or just playing in their first games in Seattle. They are well-coached and disciplined on both sides of the ball and hope to continue making noise all throughout 2019. Can Pete Carroll take this team to the promised land?

The spread for Thursday’s game favors the Seahawks by 1.5 points (SEA -1.5), while the over/under is set at 49.5.

LA Trying To Limit Turnovers

For all of the good things Jared Goff has done the last few years, his problem with turning the football over is becoming a serious issue. Every time the Rams play, you are seeing him toss it to the other team, and when the O-Line breaks down, he’s fumbling it away. He has one of the best QB whisperers in the game in his ear in the young, energetic Sean McVay, and so he really has no excuses here. He is not replaceable, especially coming off a Super Bowl appearance, but he has to be effective and efficient for his team to win.

Their other issue has been something that has carried over from last postseason. It is a little peculiar to see how few touches Todd Gurley is getting from game to game. They just need to feed him and watch him work, as there are no reported injuries regarding TG3.

Seattle Needs Big Effort

So far, the Seahawks have been playing well in 2019. This is a squad that has impressed in all three facets of offense. Wilson has been slinging it, Chris Carson has been breaking through tackles left and right, while the receivers are doing their job. Seattle has found a budding star in Will Dissly, catching targets from Wilson each and every time he’s targeted. DK Metcalf has begun his career on a high note, while the rest of the guys have also been stepping up.

Their defense is good enough to hold it down, and they’ll be hoping that it will remain as the case against the Rams. They have to pressure Goff early and apply pressure to the running game.

Seahawks Earn Win

Russell Wilson will lead Seattle to the win, as the team will get to 4-1 on the year.
