Los Angeles will head back home following this game for three straight. The Lakers will host the Nuggets on Thursday, before they welcome the Pelicans on Friday and Pistons on February 13th. The next road game will be in Utah on Valentine’s Day.
Tough Season for Charlotte
The Hornets scored just 13 points in the first quarter of the loss to the Pacers. Charlotte then got a career high from rookie Brandon Miller in the game. Miller scored 35 points and recorded 6 rebounds. Charlotte continues to play without LaMelo Ball, who is out with a right ankle injury.
Ball has played in 22 games this season for the Hornets. He scored 23.9 points per game during that time. Miller is up to 15.6 points per game. He has taken over the role that Terry Rozier had when he was with the club before getting traded to Miami.
Charlotte will remain at home for one more game. The Hornets will host Toronto on Wednesday, before a quick trip to Milwaukee on Friday. After that, the Hornets are back home for games against the Grizzlies, Pacers and Hawks.
