Florida Panthers at Vegas Golden Knights Game 5 Betting Preview

The Stanley Cup will be in the building on Tuesday night as the Florida Panthers and Vegas Golden Knights get together.

Game 5 of the Stanley Cup will take place from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The Golden Knights need just one more win to take their first Stanley Cup title in franchise history.

The visitors – from Sunrise, Florida, will make an effort to bring the series back home in their final home game of the season. Vegas leads the series 3-1. The Golden Knights are -167 in this game, with a total of 6 goals.

Florida Needs a Better Start

The Florida Panthers were looking to tie the series on Saturday and instead went down 3-0 early in the game. The Panthers scored the final two goals of the game, but it was not enough to come all the way back. The Panthers will look for a quicker start in Game 5 to have any chance.

The Panthers are led offensively by Matthew Tkachuk. The 25-year-old recorded over 100 points during the regular season, including 69 assists.

His partner Alexsander Barkov was also impressive on the season with 78 points. Barjov recorded a goal and an assist in the Game 5 loss, his first two points of the series. Tkachuk has 3 points so far this series.

In net for the Panthers will be Sergei Bobrovsky. The netminder has allowed 13 goals through the first four games of the series.

He was fantastic in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Hurricanes, as he allowed just six goals, with three of them coming in the final game of the series. Bobrovsky went eight straight postseason games allowing two goals or less.

Cassidy and his Golden Knights Need One More

Head coach Bruce Cassidy is no stranger to the Stanley Cup Finals. Cassidy and his Knights are now just one win away from claiming a title. The Golden Knights have controlled this series with 17 goals in four games.

The lone loss in Game 3 was one they would like to have back, as they led most of the way. Vegas averaged 3.26 goals per game during the regular season and allowed just under 2.75.

During the postseason, Jack Eichel has been solid. He did not record a point in the Game 4 win, but he had 5 in the first three games. Eichel led the team during the regular season with 66 points, while Chandler Stephenson had 65. Stephenson was the hero in Game 4 with two goals. He now has 5 points in the series.

The goaltender for Vegas will be Adin Hill. The 27-year-old took over against Edmonton back on May 8th and has been the guy ever since.

During this series, Hill has allowed nine goals but turned away 111 shots. Hill started just 25 games during the regular season.

Vegas Wins the Cup!

It’s hard to imagine the city of Las Vegas not celebrating over a title Tuesday night. The Golden Knights are playing good hockey and are the better team here.

Look for Vegas to get off to a quick start again, and win this game, and end the hockey season. Bet the Las Vegas Golden Knights at -167 to win Tuesday night.
