The College Football season is starting to close in on the end of the regular season. We are looking at a couple more weeks, and ready to see how these final weeks play out. Let’s take an early look at some of the top games for Week 11 of the season:
Virginia Cavaliers at Louisville Cardinals – Thursday November 9th, 2023
The Virginia Cavaliers will look to put the Louisville Cardinals plans to get to the ACC Title game on ice Thursday night. The Cardinals are 5-1, which is second in the league behind Florida State. Everyone else in the league has two or more losses. In fact, Louisville comes in with just one loss the entire season. The Cardinals have Miami left in conference play, so there is a good shot at the title game. This Louisville team is allowing teams to score just 16.3 points per game, so look for the struggles for Virginia on offense to continue Thursday night.
Michigan Wolverines at Penn State Nittany Lions – Saturday November 11th, 2023
Many consider this the best game of the day in Week 11. The Michigan Wolverines have been running through opponents all season. Now, they face their toughest test of the season as they head to Happy Valley. Michigan is scoring more than 40 points per game on the season, and scored 41 in this battle a season ago. For the Nittany Lions though, their defense is one of the best in the nation, allowing just shy of 12 points per game. Both teams are going to want to control the pace of the game on the ground, so this one could be a lower scoring game than many would like to see.
Utah Utes at Washington Huskies – Saturday November 11th, 2023
The Utah Utes get the next chance to try to knock the Washington Huskies off the ranks of unbeaten. Utah was strong in Week 10, scoring 55 points at home against Arizona State. The Utes will have to bring their defensive shoes to Washington, as the Huskies boast the top offense in all of College Football. The Huskies have a trip to Oregon State following this game, and a home game against Washington State, so the challenges remain. This is one to get at home on their quest to get into the College Football playoff.
Miami Hurricanes at Florida State Seminoles – Saturday November 11th, 2023
A rivalry game that has lost a little bit of luster over the last few seasons. The Miami Hurricanes started the conference season with a 4-0 record, but have dropped three out of five since. The Hurricanes are looking to come back from their 20-6 loss at North Carolina State last week. For Florida State, they are a perfect 9-0, and look to be getting into the Atlantic Coast Conference game, with a good shot at the College Football Playoff. The Seminoles are beat up, so it will be interesting to see who they can get on the field when Week 11 action gets here.
Ole Miss Rebels at Georgia Bulldogs – Saturday November 11th, 2023
The SEC will see another monster game, as the Ole Miss Rebels are at the Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia is no stranger to big games, as they just downed Missouri last week at home. Ole Miss also played in a big one, as they downed Texas A+M. The Rebels have a must win here if Alabama falters down the stretch for a chance at the SEC West title. Georgia just keeps rolling, as they are seeking their third straight national title.
