The Baltimore Orioles are having a solid season, but at some point they have to find a way to get more pitching. Baltimore comes into this game with a team ERA of 4.26, and that makes things difficult in the rugged AL East Division.
Cole Irvin is going to be on the mound for the Orioles this season and he is just 1-3 with a whopping 7.71 ERA. Baltimore really needs Irvin to figure some things out, but he is facing a hot lineup in this game.
Anthony Santander leads the Orioles with 14 home runs and 47 RBIS, and he is having a monster season. The Orioles do have plenty of talent in that lineup, and they can put up some big numbers when they get hot.
Orioles Protect Home Field
This is a series that should feature plenty of offense, and that is going to play right into the hands of the Baltimore Orioles at home. Cincinnati has been putting up some big numbers as well, but they do most of their damage at home.
The starting pitching matchup in this one leaves a lot to be desired, and it’s likely going to turn into a bullpen game. Look for balls to be flying all over the ballpark in this one, and Baltimore will be doing most of the damage.
