For these two teams in the NFC, it has been quite the journey this year. Both Marcus Mariota and Justin Fields have rode the ups and downs of their seasons with their respective teams.
Seeing the Chicago Bears on the road against the Atlanta Falcons will give them another chance at a victory after coming up short the last two weeks against their opponents.
Still, it feels a heck of a lot more positive in Chicago than it does for the Atlanta Falcons. They continue to struggle scoring the ball and can’t seem to settle into any rhythm on their offense.
With so many shortcomings for both teams, the spread for this game is a little bit tighter than expected and still gives a small nod to the Falcons hosting the game.

Whether or not the Bears actually finish the season out with a positive record seems irrelevant at this point, as they are letting Justin Fields run wild on his opponents.
Fields went from looking like he was going to be replaced, to unleashing his explosive running game to compliment the Bears’ passing attack.
The signs of life are welcoming for Chicago fans, as they haven’t had someone as dynamic as Fields as a quarterback in a long time. He may very well be one of the best runners at the position that we have ever seen.
But now the fun and mystique is wearing off, and it is time for the Bears to actually win a couple of games and have something to show for it by the end of the year.
Another disappointing year in Atlanta
Falcons’ fans are used to the disappointing seasons by now, but this year feels a little bit different. The NFC South is as weak as it has ever been, and they still can’t capitalize.
There is still time to bounce back, but their offense is dismal, and it feels rare for them to even complete double-digit passes at this point.
After spending multiple top picks on pass catchers, you would think they would learn to try and feature them in this offense.
Unfortunately, it hasn’t been the case, and Atlanta has paid the price so far and continues to fall by the wayside in the NFC.
Bears @ Falcons Betting Predictions
It is shaping up to be a loser-leaves-town matchup for these two franchises. The Bears may already be out of the picture, but another loss here will absolutely punt their season away.
This is going to be a game entirely focused on running the ball, and it will likely come down to a final possession of who gets the ball last to bleed out the clock.
It isn’t the most confident pick, but take the points with the Bears at +3 to win on the road in Atlanta.
