CFP: Texas Longhorns vs. Washington Huskies Betting Preview

The final College Football bowl game will take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. On defense, Texas is allowing less than 20 per game during the winning streak. Texas saw Quinn Ewers lead the passing attack for nearly 287 yards per game. The Texas offense was 18th in the country.

Jonathan Brooks was the stud running back for Texas, but is out with an injury. That gives XJ Baxter a chance to shine. Baxter has 4 touchdowns on 129 carries this season. Jaydon Blue is another guy with a chance to run the football.

Washington Seeking 14th Straight Win

After blowout wins early in the season, Washington saw some competitive football games late in the season. The Huskies won each of their final nine games by 10 points or less. The wins over USC, Utah and Oregon in a row were by an average of 9.6 points per game.

Odunze has 81 receptions for 1,428 yards and 1t touchdowns on the season. The Huskies rank 1st in passing yards with more than 343 per game.

The run game is 100th in the country, and has been focused mostly on one guy.  Dillion Johnson carried the ball 201 times for over 1,100 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Huskies Beat Longhorns

The Texas Longhorns are bound and determined to show everyone in the nation they are back as a power in College Football. Look for a competitive game, but when push comes to show, Michael Penix Jr is the best player on the field.
