A big game in the bubble as the Celtics and Raptors will play the decisive game of their exciting series. The winner will head to face the Miami Heat, while the loser will be going back home to their respective areas. There is a lot at stake, and neither of these teams feels worthy of defeat.
Boston is 38-1 all-time in playoff series when they lead 2-0. The exception was two years ago, blowing that lead to the Cavaliers. So it is possible to blow it and not come back, but they will be hoping to make it 39-1. If they want it to happen for them, Kemba needs to find a way to make his shots.
The Raptors find themselves in the exact situation they were in last year – a hard-fought round two series heading to a Game 7. Kawhi Leonard’s crazy bounce-shot put the series to an end, a potential miss resulting in OT. They got their wild shot moment in with OG Anunoby in Game 3, though. Game 7 will be fun.

Losers of three out of the past four games, Boston is still a 2.5-point favorite. The over/under is set at 203.5.
Boston Trying to Advance
They made the Eastern Conference finals in consecutive years from 2017-2018, before falling in round two last year. They are just a single win away from moving on, against a team they match up very evenly with. A win in Game 7 would be satisfying, beating the defending champs.
Kemba Walker has had his moments but also had some horrible performances. Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum will need to be locked in and just shooting whenever they see fit. Daniel Theis was a monster in game 6, perhaps his best game in his three years as a Celtic.
Brad Stevens knows what the team has to do to win. A win sets them up with the Miami Heat.
Toronto Looks to Shock
Winning this series would be one of the most impressive feats in Raptor history. Obviously, not on the same level as last year’s title, but coming from 0-2 and winning Game 3 on a wild buzzer-beater is up there. They held on in 2OT to win the last one, so 48 minutes is all it will take.
Kyle Lowry played 53 of 58 minutes and still managed to hit the dagger at the end of the last game. And Norman Powell had a fantastic performance, making some critical shots and free-throws in the big moments of Game 6. Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam have continued to struggle and will need to step up.
They closed with Siakam at center, something that is pretty new for them. We’ll see what Nick Nurse’s lineups wind up looking like. The Coach of the Year knows what he’s doing.
