Josh Hart was big in the win on Sunday. The Knicks will need that more often with injuries mounting up. The Knicks as a team are scoring 113.4 points per game. That is 19th in the league. The Knicks are one of the best rebounding teams in the league, as they are ripping down nearly 46 per game.
New York will remain at home for a game against the Magic on Friday. After that, they will host Philadelphia for back to back games. The Knicks next road game is March 14th in Portland.
Hawks without Young
It had been a healthy season for Hawks leading scorer Trae Young. He played 51 games before suffering a finger injury, and now will miss all of the month of March. Young was scoring 26.4 points per game, and dishing out 10.8 assists per game. Now, Atlanta will turn to Dejounte Murray even more. Murray is scoring just shy of 22 per game.
The Hawks are 4-6 in their last 10 games and have split their last four. Atlanta finished February with wins over the Magic and Jazz, and a loss to the Nets. The Nets completed the sweep on Saturday, winning by 12. Atlanta is scoring 120.4 points per game, which is fourth in all of the league.
Atlanta will host Cleveland on Wednesday, before a trip to Memphis on Friday. A home game on Sunday against the Pelicans will lead to a five game road trip with stops in Portland, Utah, at the Clippers and Lakers and the Suns.
Knicks Top Hawks
The injuries have become a lot for the New York Knicks. But, the Hawks have their own concerns, and playing on the road is enough of a challenge for Atlanta. We like the banged up Knicks to give the Garden a nice show at home. New York has done well at home, and will look to continue doing so here.
