College Football on Thursday will see four games on the schedule. The Stanford Cardinal and TCU Horned Frogs are the third of those games, and feature a pair of teams that are both ranked inside the Top 15. The #13 Stanford Cardinal finished 9-4 on the season, and finished atop the Pac-12 North. The Cardinal lost to USC in the Pac-12 title game.
For the TCU Horned Frogs, they are 15th in the country, and finished with a 10-3 record. The Horned Frogs also played in their conference title game, yet lose to the Oklahoma Sooners. The Horned Frogs lost to Oklahoma, and their other loss was to the Iowa State Cyclones. The TCU Horned Frogs are -2 in this game over the Stanford Cardinal on Thursday.

The TCU Horned Frogs played great defense all season. The two losses to Oklahoma, the Sooners offense was just too good for them. The lose to Iowa State saw TCU score just a single touchdown. He finished the season with more than 1,900 yards on the ground and 187 touchdowns. He finished second in College Football in the Heisman voting.
The offense was led by the running attack that picked up over 205 yards per game. Stanford started the season with a win over Rice, but then back to back losses to USC and San Diego State. After winning five straight games, the Cardinal lost to Washington State, and then fell in the Pac-12 title game to the USC Trojans for the second time.
Stanford and TCU Play a Thriller
These two teams are very similiar. Both competed for a title in their conference, but then came up a bit short. Both teams lost to the same power house team twice in a season as well.
