The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers will get together on Monday Night Football in Week 5. Both of these teams have certainly struggled throughout the season. Both teams are 1-3 on the season. Of course, the Carolina Panthers are the defending NFC Champions.

While the Panthers lost in Week 3 at home to the Vikings, this has been a place the Panthers have had success over the last few seasons. The fine folks in Carolina are going to be in rare form with a night game, in front of a national audience. The Panthers just look more comfortable at home, and that will lead them to a nice win in this game over Tampa Bay.
- The Buccaneers defense is bad. Tampa Bay has had a terrible time stopping their opponent. The Buccaneers are one of the worst defenses in all of the National Football League. Tampa Bay held Atlanta to just 24 in the season opener, but since then have allowed 40, 37 and 27 in their last three games. Look for Carolina to expose a bad defense for the win.
- Carolina cannot fall to 1-4. They just simply cannot. If the Falcons win in Week 4, there is no way they are going to be in good shape to come back from three games back. The Panthers have to start making a run at the division, and they know it. Look for Carolina to come out of this game with a bunch of energy and excitement.
- Jonathan Stewart is out again this week which means the backup running backs have to take over again. This is the 3rd straight week so Stewart has been out so Fozzy Whitaker and Mike Tolbert should be ready to do the job this week. The Panthers need somewhat of a run game to take care of the Bucs in this one.
