It seems as though every week or so new developments pop up involving the online gambling industry in the United States. Just last week the WSOP.com real money poker site launched and this week it was announced that Wynn Interactive LLC is now partnered with the All American Poker Network for their online gaming services.
The All American Poker Network is a network developed by the partnership of 888 Holdings Ltd and Avenue Capital Group. Wynn has now partnered with the network and will be working with AAPN to create and deploy their online gaming options in New Jersey and Nevada.
The All American Poker Network has focused on the licensing and operation process of providing online gaming options in both New Jersey and Nevada. The company will help Wynn with a casino and poker platform as well as a back office platform. The network will also take care of operational aspects of the sites created.
Both Wynn and 888.com will launch online brands in the United States and use the All American Poker Network to pool liquidity. This of course is subject to clearances in regulations. The Executive Chairman of the All American Poker Network, David Licht, commented that the network is honored to be chosen by Wynn to partner for online gaming. Licht believes that combining the platform and ancillary services that AAPN provides through 888 with the marquee brand of Wynn, the partnership is sure to further establish their offering in forming a regulated gaming market online in the US.
The CEO of 888, Brian Mattingley, also commented on the new partnership with Wynn and states that the market footprint and reputation of Wynn will give leverage to the technology and products that 888 provides as they have been very successful in land-based casino business.
The progress in Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware give hope to the online poker industry in the US. It is exciting to see the changes and growth in the industry and it will be interesting to see what Wynn is able to create for online gamblers in this new partnership.
