The second event in the World Series of Poker Europe has come to an end, and Dash Dudley managed to top the list, winning the second gold bracelet in his career. The event was a €550 Pot-Limit Omaha, and Dudley managed to snatch a total of €51,600 as the final prize.
After only a few days of active poker action in one of the biggest poker tournaments of the world, we received another bracelet winner, and the player from Michigan managed to showcase his superior poker skills.
Dudley has been actively playing poker for more than 15 years. In fact, he started his career back in 2002, meaning that he has gained a lot of experience, actively taking part in various poker tournaments.
However, it was only in the last couple of years that the hard work really started to pay off, as he managed to snatch two gold bracelets in two years. Last summer, he topped the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha and managed to make a seven-figure score, winning a total of $1,086,967.
Dudley showed great determination to win his second gold bracelet. He stated that he had been there before and that he had been shorter stack when the three players remained in the game.
He added that, despite the obvious disadvantage, he had managed to stay patient and to believe in himself, only to see great things happening to him. He concluded by saying that he had felt really blessed, knowing that there are a lot of people cheering for him back home.
The field consisted of 476 players who were all equally hoping to take a shot and win a golden bracelet. However, Dudley emerged as the winner in the end, topping the field with an outstanding result. The Final Table Results
Only six players formed the final table, and Dudley was nowhere near the top at the time the last round of the tournament began. In fact, he had undergone a lot of ups and downs but managed to win in the competition in the end.
The first player who had to leave the final table was Oshri Lahmani from Israel, who won a total of €7,850. He was soon followed by an Austrian player, Ivo Donev, who earned €10,900.
At that point, there were only four players remaining, and Dudley managed to avoid dropping out in fourth place. Instead of him, the player who hit the rail was Ming Juen Teoh from Malaysia, who managed to win €15,225.
Denis Drobina, a player from Ukraine, ended up third with a total of €21,825 in his pocket, leaving Christopher Back and Dudley to engage in the heads-up play of the tournament. Dudley was a better player, and Back ended second, earning €31,825 in the process.
